Melamine desktop
Desktop made with particleboard with a thickness of 28mm, faced with a reflection-free melamine resin and edged with ABS trims (thickness 2mm, rounded edges). The desktop is equipped with threaded inserts, used for hooking it to the structure and for the screens. The top is fixed to the legs using metric screws. The minimum and maximum heights of the top variate depending on the type of leg.
1 step leg
The leg is made from a pair of central uprights joined together by a connecting beam. Each upright is composed by a 2mm thick rectangular steel tube segment (60x110 mm), inside which slides another 2mm thick rectangular tube segment (50x100 mm). On the upper part of the external tube there is a plastic adapter collar. The joining beam is made with a 2mm thick rectangular section tube (50x100mm) provided with threaded inserts for fixing both the screens and the cable trays. Under the upright there is a supporting base made with 3mm thick welded metal sheets , equipped with a pair of metal height adjustable feet covered in polyehtylene which allow a height adjustment of +10 mm. On the upper part of the upright an open tubular section is welded, used as a support for fixing the connecting beam and the top fixing bracket (made in 3mm thick steel metal sheets). All metal parts are epoxy coated. The minimum height for the leg is 705mm from the ground (which corresponds to a top height of 733mm) and the height-adjustment mechanism has a maximum adjustability of 400mm (which corresponds to a maximum top height of 1133mm).
2 steps leg
The leg is made from a pair of central uprights joined together by a connecting beam. Each upright is composed by a 2mm thick rectangular steel tube segment (70x120 mm), inside which slide another pair of 2mm thick rectangular tube segments, one inside of the other, both 2mm thick. The intermediate tube has a 60x110 mm section whilst the internal one has a 50x100 mm section. On the upper part of the outer tube there is a plastic adapter collar. The minimum height for the leg is 620mm from the ground (which corresponds to a top height of 648mm) and the height-adjustment mechanism has a maximum adjustability of 600mm (which corresponds to a maximum top height of 1248mm).
Control unit / push-button panel
The control unit receives the input by the push-button panel and synchronizes the activation of the leg motors. It is available both with 240 V power supply (EU and UK versions) and 120 V (US version). There are 2 types of push-button panels: “A” (basic) and “B” (with a digital display). The “A” type push-button panel has only the basic controls “UP” and “DOWN”. The “B” type push-button panel also has a digital display and allows the user to memorize up to 4 different height positions, associating them with the buttons numbered from 1 to 4. Connecting beam The beam is made with a 1,2mm epoxy coated bended steel sheet. It’s fixed to the upper part of the height-adjustable legs and is equipped with holes with a diameter of 40mm positioned on the extremities and in the center, on both sides, for the cable passage. Each hole is equipped with a plastic protective gasket. Dimensions: L x 134 x 55 mm.
Melamine screen
Made with particleboard with a thickness of 28mm, faced with a reflection-free melamine resin and edged with ABS trims (thickness 2mm). The screen is supported by a pair of 3mm thick epoxy coated steel brackets. The bracket is fixed to the top and to the screen, both equipped with holes with threaded inserts, with metric screws. The height of the screen compared to the desktop is of 375mm (total height of the screen 600mm) and it’s width is the same as the desk’s one.
“Pinnable” fabric covered screen
Made with particleboard with a thickness of 18mm, faced with a reflection-free melamine resin. On both sides of the panel a 6mm thick adhesive expanded polyethylene mat is glued, with exception to a small section where the brackets are fastened, where a 6mm poplar panel is fixed. Everything is then covered with a layer of fire-retardant material.
